Guides on Conveyor Belts
Plastic guides are placed on conveyor belts as guide profiles, spill edges and cleats. We also give you tips regarding: the clearance of the groove.
Narviflex places belts on conveyor belts for the following application areas:
Guiding strips : at the bottom of the tire, to realign the tire if it loses steering
Spill edges : at the top of the belt, to prevent product from falling off the belt
Cleats : at the top of the belt, to increase the belt's lifting capacity
These sizes are available:
It is important when building the structure to give the guiding strips some slack , otherwise the bond to the belt will become loose. Take into account the minimum clearance in this drawing:
Narviflex has developed a special guiding strip, made of polyurethane of 60° sh A, color transparent:
Can be used on smaller drum diameters than the harder white PU guides.
Polyurethane is better than PVC in every respect: stronger, more wear-resistant, oil and grease resistant and resistant to many chemicals.
We can place this guide on PU cover layers and also on the fabric layers of PU and PVC belts. Not on PVC coatings.
The standard belt is not intended for applications with unpackaged food products.

Variants are also available in food-approved, transparent serrated (CSC), blue PU 60°sh A (VSB) and blue PU 60°sh A serrated (CSB). The entire Volta range can also be used as a steering string. |
