Narviflex is looking for a Service Technician Conveyor Belts outside service for its head office in Geel (B). This versatile job is really something for handymen who want to work in other sectors every day and repair, replace or assemble conveyor belts on customers' machines.

What do we do in the field?
Assembly and disassembly of plastic and/or rubber conveyor belts in factories and workshops
Conveyor belts cut to length, prepare weld, seamless weld or vulcanize, and tension after assembly
Cover, install and replace drums and rollers where necessary
Repair, install and replace scrapers
If necessary, we also replace bearings and drive parts
Inspection and maintenance of conveyor belts and associated systems
Profile
You have a valid VCA certificate , and you are aware of safety. You like to work safely and neatly. You can achieve this just before you start if necessary.
You like working with your hands and being active .
You have technical insight, common sense and can think logically. Knowledge of mechanics is certainly useful. A secondary education in welding construction, building, woodworking or maintenance techniques is useful.
You can count quickly and accurately measure how long something is.
You are not afraid of heights , because many conveyor belts go up high. You always work safely.
You are a handyman and you don't have two left hands.
You are physically fit and can climb stairs with ease and carry or pull large/heavy objects.
You are service-oriented and have a good appearance. After all, you visit many companies and are the figurehead of our company.
You enjoy working with others in small teams, and are helpful and pleasant to work with. You are respectful to your colleagues.
You are willing to work in a flexible schedule . We are in a service-oriented business, and work when our customer needs it. Sometimes that is early, sometimes late, sometimes in the weekend.
