OB Wire eye conveyor belt
The passage of the belt is tailor-made by varying the distance of the individual wire eyes. This can be done by keeping the wire eyes at a distance using: of 1 or more underwelded wires (the localization wire), springs, rings, or bushes.
Wire eye conveyor belts have been used successfully for many decades in, among others, the food industry, metal industry and chemical industry. The reliability, wear resistance of the tire and the wide choice of tire materials, as well as the sophisticated design that makes variants of this tire relatively easy, have contributed to this.
Our wire eye belts (type OB) are also available under other codes, such as OBG, OBGL, DO and DL. Product names used are Wire Link Belts, Eye Link Belts, TUG-Belts, CG-Belts, Eye-Flex and Modular Belts.
The passage of the belt is tailor-made by varying the distance of the individual wire eyes. This can be done by keeping the wire eyes at a distance using 1 or more underwelded wires (the localization wire), springs, rings, or bushes. The passage of the belt can vary from 2 mm to 50 mm.
The diameter of the wire eyes can vary from 1.6 mm for very light or fine mesh tires to 4 mm for heavy duty applications. The smallest passage opening is 0.7 mm. The space between the eyes is then smaller than the diameter of the wire eye itself.
Wire eye belts with different passages in 1 belt are also possible.
The belt can also easily be provided with product carriers, custom-made product carriers, raised side plates, and/or compartment dividers. The belt can also be made self-supporting.
