Narviflex IFS Tilting connection for plastic conveyor belts

Narviflex can install the IFS (Invisible Flexible Splice) "tilt connection" in your plastic conveyor belts:

  • Assembly of the belt can be done quickly, so that production loss/production stop is kept to a minimum

  • The IFS connection is placed warm in the tire, without thickening

  • The connection is tight after installation, no product falls through

  • Band can be opened and closed frequently to thoroughly clean the installation

  • Provided using the plastic connecting pins, the tapes can pass through metal detectors and X-Ray installations. Please note that the magnetic field changes at the connection and discuss this with the supplier of your detector

  • You must take the minimum required drum diameters into account.

For the belt thicknesses below, you can see the tensile strength after installation and minimum drum diameters:

  • Belt thickness 1.5 to 2.4 mm, tensile strength 8 N/mm, minimum drum diameters 60 mm

  • Belt thickness 2.5 to 3.4 mm, tensile strength 12 N/mm, minimum drum diameters 100 mm

  • Belt thickness 3.5 to 4.9 mm, tensile strength 20 N/mm, minimum drum diameters 120 mm

  • Belt thickness 5.0 to 6.0 mm, tensile strength 20 N/mm, minimum drum diameters 120 mm

These belts are for a Belgian Machine Builder, who can thus transport his conveyor line to a country where finding a company that can weld conveyor belts is certainly not easy.
