Properties Neoprene Rubber:

Chloroprene rubber, better known under the brand name neoprene, is a synthetic rubber that is used, among other things, in the automotive industry and for insulating sportswear.

The material was introduced to the market in 1930 and in vulcanized form is very resistant to chemicals (for example oil) and embrittlement and weather-resistant.
